Happy Thanksgiving!

November 28th, is the annual Thanksgiving holiday. Its origins can be traced back to the early colonial days of the United States. In 1620, a group of English Puritans (known as "pilgrims") arrived at Plymouth in North America aboard the Mayflower. They face many difficulties in the strange land, such as cold climate, food shortage and so on. Local Indians helped them learn to grow crops such as corn and pumpkins, and taught them how to hunt and fish. In the fall of 1621, these colonists had a good harvest, and to thank God for the gift and the help of the Indians, they held a three-day celebration, which is considered to be the origin of the American Thanksgiving Day. Thanksgiving Day in the United States is on the fourth Thursday of November every year. The date was set by U.S. President Franklin Delano Roosevelt in 1941.
